Welcome! My name is Connie and I started Curly Q Consignment because I'm passionate about saving money. As a busy wife and a mom of 2 young boys, I knew there had to be a better (cheaper) way to find quality name-brand items I needed for my children. I tried buying and selling items on ebay and liked it, so I started buying and selling for friends and family. But as time went on, I found it time consuming and expensive to pay shipping and fees. So I started having huge annual garage sales in my driveway with a few friends and family. Each year my sale would get larger and I would find the same people coming back. Which was great, but I was at the mercy of the weather, and some years I spent all day with only a few items sold.  And then I discovered the perfect solution - CONSIGNMENT! Consignment is a quick way to earn money on my kids outgrown items and shop for new ones all in one place. No more spending hours driving from garage sale to garage sale only to find a few quality items. All I had to do was bring my items in and they would sell them for me. I sold at consignment shops and at school/church resales but two things were missing; I wasn't making as much money as I wanted and I wasn't finding quality items. I knew what I had to do, start a semi-annual resale in Kane County. The concept of bringing thousands of quality brand name children's items together, under one roof, for a short period of time is ideal for everyone. I believe in moms helping moms. It's a great feeling to know you are helping someone and getting great deals in return. I hope you will consider consigning or shopping the quality items at our sale. I can't wait to see all of you!
